Hotel links and Stay22

Some pages link to hotels, either to the hotel’s own website or to booking sites such as Booking.com. On those pages the site may use Stay22, a service that turns a link to a booking site into an affiliate link when you click it. Stay22 works with booking partners including Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com and Agoda, so the site you land on may be one of those. If you then book a stay, we may earn a commission, and you pay the same price as you would going to that booking site directly. Stay22 does this through a script that loads on those pages; our privacy policy explains what that means for you.

These commissions are how this site pays for itself. Nobody pays us to be featured, and no operator or hotel has been added to a page because they asked.

What we are and are not

We are not GetYourGuide or Stay22, and this site is not part of either company or endorsed by them. We do not run any of the tours listed here or own any of the hotels.

We are also not the City of Greater Geelong (the council’s website is geelongcity.vic.gov.au), not Visit Geelong & the Bellarine, and not connected to any museum, gallery, ferry company or attraction we write about.

Bookings, payment, availability, cancellations and refunds are handled by GetYourGuide and the supplier running the activity. If something goes wrong with a booking, they are who you need, not us, and their terms apply. The same goes for hotels: the hotel or the booking site you used handles the booking.

About the prices and ratings shown

Prices, ratings and review counts in the tour listings on this site were taken from GetYourGuide in October 2026, with prices in Australian dollars. All of them move. Prices change with season and demand, ratings shift as reviews come in, and activities are sometimes withdrawn.

Treat the figures here as a rough guide. The live price on GetYourGuide when you book is the real one.

Which tours we list

We only say a tour visits Geelong when its own listing says it starts in, picks up in or stops in Geelong. Most Great Ocean Road day trips from Melbourne take the ring road around the city and do not stop in Geelong at all, and we say so where it matters. Check the itinerary, pickup points and what is included before you book.

Some things in Geelong, such as the Old Geelong Gaol ghost tours, are not sold on GetYourGuide. Where that is the case we tell you to book direct with the operator, and we earn nothing from it.

Our opinions are our own

We choose which activities to link to on the basis of whether they look useful to someone visiting Geelong and the region. The commission does not change what we write.
