Looking for the council?

This site is not the City of Greater Geelong. We are an independent visitor guide, written by one person, with no link to the council. For rates, bins, parking fines, permits, planning, libraries, pet registration or any other council service, go to the council’s website at geelongcity.vic.gov.au. Emails to us about council matters cannot be passed on.

We also cannot book anything for you or speak for Visit Geelong & the Bellarine, the museums and galleries, the ferry and bus companies, the hotels or the tour operators. For a tour booked through GetYourGuide, contact GetYourGuide or the operator directly. For a hotel booking, contact the hotel or the site you booked on.

• Corrections: a price that has changed, a ferry that no longer runs, a fact we have got wrong. Tell us which page and what you saw, and we will fix it.

• The domain: geelongcity.com.au is available to the right buyer. Serious inquiries only, and please include a number.

We usually reply within two to three working days. If you have not heard back after a week, the message probably went to spam at one end or the other, so send it again.
